Register Now for SYPG’s 2025 Summer Dance Camp!
When: Monday, June 2, 2025 - Friday, June 6, 2025, 9am-3pm daily
Cost: $150 (due by June 2)
Where: Grant Conservatory of Music & Dance, 501 W. Elliott Ave., Springfield, IL
SYPG’s summer dance camp is geared toward boys and girls ages 5 and up who are currently enrolled in a movement class at any studio of their choice. All campers who attend the week of camp will have the opportunity to participate in our performance of Beauty and the Beast on Saturday, June 7, 2025! During the week, campers will learn about hair, make-up, nutrition, stretching/conditioning, acting and other aspects of dance and theatre. It will be a fun and interactive camp with many different activities, as well as learning their parts for the show! Each day, campers should bring their own sack lunch, beach towel for sitting outdoors, refillable water bottle, and snacks. Campers should arrive each morning dressed appropriately for a dance rehearsal, with a t-shirt, shorts/leggings, and street shoes worn over dance clothes.

Attend our Parent/Performer orientation meeting and audition on Friday, May 9 at the Grant Conservatory of Music & Dance. Registration will be held from 5:30-6pm, with Performer Auditions from 6-7pm. Cast photos and a brief informational meeting will follow. Performers should come dressed for auditions in black leos / pink tights (girls) or black pants / white shirt (boys).
